A Month in Brunei Darussalam

Hello everyone. My today's writing is about my one month experience lived in Brunei due to my internship program in the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam. This writing is more about my everyday life in Brunei such as what kind of transportation I used when I was there, domicile and some kind of random things in Brunei related to my daily activities when I was there for a month.

First, when I was there I lived in a hostel with 4 of my friends. The hostel name is "EZ Lodgings". We've found the hostel by finding it on the Airbnb application and we can do online booking. About the hostel, it was not a big hostel, it's only contained less than 10 rooms. each room was different, could contain 1 to 4 people for each room. This hostel very close to the Mall Gadong, the best mall in Brunei, the locals said.

Those pictures above showing what EZ Lodgings looks like from my lens. I didn't take a picture of my room but if you wanna see more about EZ Lodgings you can find it out on https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17306528?source_impression_id=p3_1567657203_iddL56DFU0WRsVKP

Most Bruneians have their own car which they use for daily transportation as well as almost every house has more than one car each. Due to our one month period of internship program in Brunei, we decided to rent a car considering that Brunei has rarely public transportation where you have to wait for hours for public transportation. So, we rent a car for BND 450 from one of the Indonesian Embassy staff, and also you have to know that it only costs BND 0.5 for one litre of fuel or worth about IDR 5000. Oh, yaa Brunei has its own currency which is BND (Brunei Dollar), BND 1 is equal to IDR 10,488.28 as well as in Brunei you can do your purchasing with SGD (Singapore Dollar) because they are equal.

I have never met a traffic jam when I was in Brunei for a month and for me Brunei is a beautiful and peaceful country for working. No traffic jam and it was like, you can go anywhere with only 15 minutes needed.

That's it for today's story, sorry for the bad grammar and please give me your suggestions if you have. Thank you, readers.
